Adirondack Educational Center (AEC)

AEC, located at 711 Route 3 in Saranac Lake, is home base for seven vocational training programs, an alternative education program, an adult education program, and several administrative offices. Our Saranac Lake school serves the school districts of Lake Placid, Long Lake, Saranac Lake, and Tupper Lake.

The present AEC building opened in 1975. With a close working relationship with the component school districts, students work towards their completion of high school and then proceed to post-secondary education, the workforce or the military.

North Franklin Educational Center (NFEC)

NFEC, located at 23 Husky Lane in Malone, is home base for 13 vocational training programs, an alternative education program and an adult education program. Our Malone school serves the school districts of Brushton-Moira, Chateaugay, Malone, St. Regis Falls and Salmon River.

Most of our administrative offices, which serve the entire FEH BOCES region, can also be found at NFEC.

FEH BOCES Administrative Offices

The administration office, located at the North Franklin Educational Center in Malone, oversees and coordinates the shared educational services that our component districts request through our Board of Education. Its core function is to make sure districts receive cost‑effective, compliant, and high‑quality programs by managing operations, budgets, communication, and state‑level coordination.
