Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES recognized student achievement and community generosity during its annual Scholarship Night held May 21 at the North Franklin Educational Center in Malone.

The evening celebrated graduating seniors from FEH BOCES programs as students, families, instructors, and community members gathered to honor the recipients of several memorial and trade-focused scholarships. CTE Director Shawn McMahon welcomed guests to the ceremony, while Culinary Arts students and instructors provided refreshments for attendees.

Scholarships awarded during the ceremony included:

  • Abbey Adams Memorial Scholarship — Blake Martin
  • Alex Savage Memorial Scholarship — Jayden Reardon
  • Benny Rumble Memorial Scholarship — Landon Boyea and Reese Herne
  • Brooke Lyon Remembrance Scholarship — Alex Redmond
  • FEH BOCES Teachers Union Scholarship — Alex Redmond
  • IAEI Scholarship — Mason Poirier
  • Jeb Bartenslager Memorial Scholarship — Nolan Hanna
  • Preve Scholarship — Oakley Hasty and Landon LaValley
  • Ward Lumber Cooperative Tool Scholarship — Brennan Shova
  • Willie Willett Memorial Scholarship — Isaac Baker

Many of the scholarships honor the memory and legacy of former students, educators, and community members while supporting students pursuing careers in the skilled trades, health occupations, culinary arts, and other career pathways.

FEH BOCES thanks the generous donors and organizations whose continued support helps students pursue higher education, apprenticeships, trade schools, and workforce opportunities after graduation. Congratulations to all scholarship recipients as they prepare for their next chapter.
