Our alternative education programs are designed to support the success of students who struggle in a traditional school setting. These programs feature small class sizes, allowing for personalized attention and a more tailored learning experience. Provided programs include Torch Academy and Job Exploration & Training (JET).
Torch Academy is a program for grades 9-12 that is offered both virtually and in-person at the North Franklin Educational Center in Malone. It serves to help students who experience a variety of challenges finding success in their home districts. This includes:
- Academics and attendance.
- Need assistance catching up on required credits/Regents Exams.
- Benefit from smaller classes.
- Benefit from a small team of educators’ approach.
To view more information, view the Torch Academy In-Person Handbook to learn more.
