SARANAC LAKE — 7 career and technical education students from Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society on the evening of April 16, 2026.

This achievement has become even more impressive due to a new change for becoming a member of the NTHS: an increase to the original GPA criteria from an 85% minimum average to a 90% minimum average for the first 6 quarters of a 2-year CTE program. Additionally, students would need an attendance average of 95% (or less than 13.5 absences) over the first 6 quarters of a 2-year CTE program and their program instructor’s recommendation.
