In order to be inducted, students had to have an 90% or better average for the last 6 quarters, exhibit quality attendance, and receive a teacher recommendation.

“We’re incredibly proud of these students and their hard work over the last two years at NFEC,” said FEH BOCES Executive Principal Shawn McMahon. “Career and Technical Education programs demand that students excel in technical skills and people skills in addition to educational subjects such as math and science, so it’s very meaningful for these students to have achieved such success.

The National Technical Honor Society is an educational nonprofit that exists to honor, recognize and empower students and teachers in Career & Technical Education. As the honor society for Career & Technical Education, NTHS serves over 100,000 active members annually in both secondary and postsecondary chapters across the country.

Adirondack Educational Center’s NTHS inductees will be honored at a ceremony later this week.
