UPDATE: This year's modular house was sold for $115,741 to the top bidder, Aaron Deon. The FEH BOCES Board of Education approved the bid at their meeting on Feb. 22, 2024.

Our Building Trades, HVAC and Electrical Trades classes at North Franklin Educational Center have worked together to build a modular house. 

FEH BOCES is now accepting bids to purchase the pre-fab building.

The 28' x 56' modular home has the following features: 

• 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms

• Meets all local building codes

• Full kitchen with Formica countertops

• No appliances

• Flooring to be purchased and installed by homeowner

• Plumbing roughed in

• Condensate boiler with radiant floor heating

• Domestic hot water

The house must be moved by August to make space for students to start construction on a new house. Submitting a bid includes agreeing to a storage fee if the house is not removed by August 2, 2024.
