FEH BOCES will make every effort to assist the local health department and contract tracers to trace all persons who had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. To do this, FEH BOCES will ensure that it:
- will keep accurate attendance records of students and staff members;
- ensure student schedules are up to date; and
- keep a log of any visitors which includes dates, time, and where in the school they visited.
Contact Tracing Responsible Parties will be determined by officials at the Franklin and/or Essex County DOH and at each school in coordination with the COVID-19 Coordinator.
The nurse will notify the state and local health department immediately upon being informed of any positive COVID 19 diagnostic test result by an individual within school facilities or on school grounds, including students, faculty, staff, and visitors in accordance with Education Law § 906
