The Adirondack Educational Center, located at 711 NYS Route 3 in Saranac Lake, NY serves the school districts of Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake, Lake Placid and Long Lake.

The present building, which opened in 1975, houses 6 Career and Technical Education programs, an Alternative Education program for Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12.  The New Vision in Healthcare program is located on the grounds of the Adirondack Medical Center.

The 6 Career and Technical Education programs are approved through the New York State Department of Education and have permission from the department to award the New York State Education Department Technical Endorsement to qualifying students.

The major goal for all students at the Adirondack Educational Center is striving for success.  Working with a committed faculty, staff and administration, students are afforded every opportunity to be successful in their programs.  With a close working relationship with the component school districts, students work towards their completion of high school and then proceed to post-secondary education, the workforce or the military.

For information regarding any of the above programs, please call (518) 891-1330.
